Angela Eady

Angela Eady is a lifelong resident of Osceola County who proudly serves as Vice Mayor and City Commissioner for Seat 2 in the City of Kissimmee. Having grown up in the community she now represents, Angela brings a deep understanding of Kissimmee’s history, challenges, and potential, shaped by decades of living, working, and serving alongside its residents.

 

Angela has served two terms on the Kissimmee City Commission, first from 2016 to 2020 and again since 2022. Throughout her service, she has been a consistent advocate for policies that strengthen families and improve quality of life, including expanding access to affordable healthcare, improving educational opportunities, and attracting high-paying jobs that support a strong local economy. 

Angela’s commitment to service is rooted in her personal story. She is the tenth of twelve children, a proud mother, and a devoted grandmother to three granddaughters. Her upbringing instilled values of hard work, fairness, and responsibility that continue to guide her leadership and her belief that public service should always put people first.

 

Above all, Angela believes in bringing people together. She leads with a focus on unity, inclusion, and shared progress, working to bridge differences and move Kissimmee forward as one community. With proven experience, a strong record of service, and a clear vision for the future, Angela Eady is committed to building a safer, stronger, and more inclusive Kissimmee for everyone.

Committed to Community

Beyond the City Commission, Angela has dedicated much of her adult life to community service by serving on several boards for local organizations and has received numerous awards recognizing her leadership and civic involvement. Unity is what makes a community strong. When people work together, support one another, and share a common goal, the entire community benefits. By coming together and listening to each other, we can solve problems, celebrate successes, and create a better place for all.

In addition to her role as Vice Mayor, Angela works full-time for a major pharmaceutical distributor and has nearly 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. This professional background provides her with valuable insight into workforce development, healthcare access, and the real-world concerns facing working families.

Angela believes that to be a good leader, you have to have been led by those who have come before you. She feels we all have a responsibility as human beings to pave the way for the next generation, but you can’t pave the way if you’re in the way.

Angela wants to continue the work she’s already started and keep making progress on important community goals. As a seasoned Commissioner, she feels her many years of experience on the Commission give her invaluable insight into how the city operates and how to continue advancing the community’s well-being.

Angela’s favorite part of serving on the Commission is interacting with residents and ensuring the city’s needs are met. She enjoys being a voice for constituents and creating initiatives to solve various issues.

Angela has played a key role in numerous city initiatives during her tenure. However, two of her favorite initiatives were Haven on the Vine and approving additional funding for law enforcement to equip officers with body-worn cameras.

Angela’s extensive service on the Council has allowed her to understand how local government works, how decisions are made, and how to navigate challenges effectively. She has a proven track record of effective leadership and building long-term relationships that benefit the city and residents.
